The Borden project is located near Chapleau, Ontario, approximately 160 kilometers west of Timmins. The project has the potential to further enhance the long-term economics of PGM. A pre-feasibility study has been completed to determine the optimization of a combined Borden-Porcupine operation. An Advanced Exploration permit has been received in April 2017 and the construction of a ramp was initiated at the Borden mine site. This will allow for an extraction of a 30,000 ton bulk sample and provide an underground platform for exploration drilling of a deposit that still remains open at depth and laterally.
Warehouse Operator
Borden Gold Project – Chapleau, ON
The Warehouse Operator will unload, receive and store goods and materials procured by the Company. The position will issue goods and materials from inventory and will document, load and ship material off site. The incumbent will ensure accuracy of all transactions and conduct assigned inventory counts.  

  • Responsible for the receiving of all goods procured by the company
  • Must ensure accuracy of goods received
  • Responsible for the accurate tagging of all goods received
  • Must report all deficiencies to the vendor and the Warehouse Supervisor and Account Payable to resolve the issue in a timely manner
  • Contact end user on receipt of Direct Charge shipments and ensure items are picked up or delivered in a timely manner
  • Keep accurate filing system of all documentation for future reference
  • To ensure R.F.I.D. items are tagged and properly assigned and activated (2013)
  • To ensure R.F.I.D. contract items are being shipped with the desired tags (2013)
  • Responsible for the issuing of all inventory
  • Ensure accuracy of all issue transactions
  • Enter issue transactions in the computer system in a timely manner to ensure an accurate re-order report
  • Pull from shelves and prepare for shipping or kitting internally requested inventory
  • Train customers in the use of Hand Held Computers for issuing or inquiry
  • Responsible for the preparation of all documentation, company, legislated or carrier, for the shipping of goods off site
  • Must ensure all material being shipped off site is properly and safely packaged or skidded, and has any and all appropriate labels and warnings attached
  • Responsible for checking for Repair Tag correctly filled out and or PR number attached by end user
  • Must ensure all inventory items are put away in their proper designated location, in an accurate safe and timely manner
  • Run stocking audit at end of each day and correct any deficiencies
  • To correct any stock that is found in the incorrect location
  • Responsible for reporting low stock levels that should be ordered
  • Responsible to conduct formal physical counts as scheduled
  • Responsible to conduct spot checks as required or requested
  • Responsible for providing accurate information on all aspects of the inventory status to other company personnel as requested, or redirect the inquiry to other warehouse personnel if unable to provide the requested info
  • Must maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment
  • Must adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures as they apply to their job functions (ie PPE, circle checks, etc)


  • Grade 12 Diploma or relevant experience. Working knowledge of legislation requirements under Transportation of Dangerous Goods act.
  • Minimum of three years warehouse experience
  • Forklift operations certificate
  • supervision must be able to organize work, prioritize and execute with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of SAP and PC software would be an asset. Must be fully trained in WHMIS and TDG and undated when required
