About the job:

This position will answer to the Community Improvement Coordinator. The purpose of this role is to assist the Community Improvement Coordinator. The Assistant Community Improvement Person will work 12 hour shifts, on a rotation of 4 on 3 off.

• Working closely with Underground, Mill, Engineering and Geology Departments within the mine
• Assisting the continuous improvement of projects by planning, helping, and implementing improvement projects
• Assist in implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure measurable and progress are in place to support the mine site operations through the information systems
• Support the implantation of Underground, Mill, Logistics and Surface Projects

What you need:

• Strong work ethic and reliability record
• Own transportation – public transportation not available
• Knowledge and application of continuous improvement techniques – considered an asset
• Demonstrate a high level of energy, self-motivation, and strong organization skills
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and specifically MS Excel – considered an asset
• Administration experience in a mine – an asset
